1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Alcometer app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Nature of the Service

Alcometer is an educational tool that provides estimated blood alcohol content (BAC) calculations based on the Widmark formula. It is NOT a medical device, breathalyzer, or legal tool. Estimates may vary from actual BAC due to individual metabolism, food intake, medication, and other factors. Never use Alcometer to determine whether it is safe to drive. The Zone — a visual guide with 0.6‰ as its upper limit — is included for awareness and reflection only; it is not a safety threshold or a recommendation that any level of drinking is safe.

3. Eligibility

You must be of legal drinking age in your country or region to use Alcometer. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Alcometer offers a free first month followed by a paid subscription. Payment is processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's account settings.

5. Disclaimer of Liability

Alcometer is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on the app's estimates. You assume full responsibility for your actions, including driving, after consuming alcohol. In no event shall Alcometer, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the app.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding in Alcometer are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app without written permission.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Alcometer at any time, for any reason, without notice.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
